The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. FSC Chain of Custody certification ensuring that products have met FSC standards from raw materials through processing, transformation, manufacturing, and distribution. There are 7 different FSC logos you might encounter:

  • FSC 100% - Products from forests certified as meeting the FSC Standards
  • FSC Recycled - Products which support re-use of forest resources and use only postconsumer reclaimed material in accordance with FSC standards.
  • FSC Mixed Sources (from well managed forests and other controlled sources)
  • FSC Mixed Sources (from well managed forests, controlled sources, and recycled wood or fibre)*
  • FSC Mixed Sources (from well managed forests and recycled wood or fibre)*
Products with the FSC Mixed Sources label contain at least 70% FSC certified and recycled material. * Label may include recycling symbol, to indicate post-consumer content in materials such as paper
